Support Services Manager Griselda Garcia

Griselda is currently Fountain Valley Police Department’s Support Services Manager.  She began her law enforcement career in 2007 with the Culver City Police Department as a Records Technician.   She maintained and classified crime reports in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Investigations Uniform Crime Reporting criteria, as well as assisted jail staff on specific jail assignments.

In 2016, she was promoted to Culver City Police Department’s Police Records and Property Supervisor.  Her responsibilities included overseeing the day-to-day activities within the Records and Property & Evidence units, assisting on Public Records Requests, and implementing and maintaining the Records Management System. Her work on the new Records Management System earned her Culver City PD’s Sustained Superiority Award.

In 2020, Griselda joined the Fountain Valley Police Department as the Support Services Manager.  She currently responds to Public Records Requests, assists Command Staff on multiple projects and issues, and manages the Records Unit, Dispatch Center, Front Desk Operation and Police Cadet Program.  

Griselda earned her Master’s in Emergency Services Administration from CSU Long Beach and her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from CSU Dominguez Hills. She is also a graduate from the Civilian Leadership Institute.
