Captain Jarrod frahm

Jarrod began his law enforcement career in 2005 as a full-time police officer with the Fountain Valley Police Department. Over the years, he has served in a variety of assignments, including Patrol, Bicycle Patrol, Narcotics Detective, Recruit Training Officer, and SWAT.

In 2016, Jarrod was promoted to Police Sergeant, where he managed the Field Training Program, coordinated special events, and supervised the Bicycle Patrol Unit.

He advanced to the rank of Lieutenant in 2020 and was assigned to the Support Services Division, overseeing the Detective Bureau, Crime Suppression Unit, Property and Evidence, Crime Analysis, and CSI.

In 2025, Jarrod earned the rank of Captain and currently leads the Patrol Division.

Jarrod holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice with an emphasis on Organizational Leadership.
