Fountain Valley Police Department provides Live Scan fingerprint services for pre-employment criminal history background checks. These criminal history checks may be required as a condition of employment, licensing or certification. The California Department of Justice requires applicant fingerprints be electronically submitted by law enforcement personnel or other certified technicians.
