Street Sweeping Services

Street sweeping is scheduled as noted below. The City's street sweeping contractor observes the following holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. Please refer to the holiday schedule below to see how service will be affected. For additional information, call the Public Works Department at 714-593-4600.

Click on the map to the right to find out when street sweeping is scheduled for your street. The schedule for your neighborhood is also posted on the first street light pole at the entrance to your neighborhood.

All vehicles and trash carts need to be off the street on street sweeping day to allow for proper cleaning of the street. Street sweeping helps keep our city "a nice place to live" and prevents ocean pollution by removing debris that can enter the storm drain system. Vehicles parked on the street during regularly scheduled street sweeping will be cited.

Please have all vehicles and trash cans off the street to allow the street sweepers to properly clean the street and help prevent trash from entering the storm drain system and polluting the ocean.
