Since its incorporation in 1957 and throughout its rich history, the City of Fountain Valley has been known as "A Nice Place to Live." We also like to think of Fountain Valley as a healthy place to live with its 3 golf courses, 18 parks including Mile Square Park, 78-acre Recreation Center and Sports Park, wide range of recreation programs and community events, a River Trail, great weather throughout the year, and overall quality of life.
Fountain Valley is also a great place to shop and do business. There are convenient neighborhood and major shopping centers located through the community. You can be sure to find great deals on everything you need at Sam’s Club, Costco, PetSmart, Fry’s Electronics, Office Deport, or the numerous small town specialty shops.
