City Clerk Administrator

Welcome to the City of Fountain Valley City Clerk's Office. Our mission is to promote public trust by accurately recording and archiving the legislative actions of the City while providing professional services in an efficient manner.  In keeping with the traditional values of the City, our support services are carried out in both a friendly and fiscally responsible manner. 

As part of the Administration Department, the City Clerk’s Office serves the City Council, Successor Agency to the Fountain Valley Agency for Community Development, Fountain Valley Housing Authority, Fountain Valley Public Financing Authority, and Fountain Valley Finance Authority. The City Clerk’s office updates and maintains the Fountain Valley Municipal Code, administers the City's contract and records management programs and receives and processes public records requests, tort claims, subpoenas and summons. As the local filing officer we receive and archive statements of economic interest and campaign statements and as the local elections official we administer the election process in consolidation with the County and in accordance with statutory regulations.  Additional administrative duties include the City’s Risk Management Program and assisting in administering the Administration Department's budget.  The City of Fountain Valley City Clerk also serves as the Clerk of the Board to the Orange County Council of Governments through a shared services agreement.
