Crime Analysis

The Crime Analyst is assigned to the Investigations Bureau. The Crime Analyst maintains an accurate crime and suspect database which facilitates quality analysis on crime series, patterns, trends, and offenders which will lead to the identification, arrest and successful prosecution of criminals. The objective of crime analysis is to assist Investigations and Patrol with the deployment of resources, preventing, and suppressing criminal activity, aiding the investigative process to increase the apprehension of criminals.
