The Fountain Valley Community Foundations annual 5K Fun Run took place on Saturday, February 3rd, and it was a super event! Approximately 700 runners registered for the event and over 40 nonprofits in town will benefit from the approximately $19,000 brought in through registrations and sponsorships. FV Fit Body Boot Camp is the name sponsor of the 5K event and brought in many of the sponsors for the prizes awarded to the winning runners. The run is a Super Hero themed event for all levels and ages. Much of the crowd came dressed in their favorite superhero costumes. Of course, we have our own favorite Super Heroes, FVFD and FVPD had representatives running in full gear. Thank you to everyone that came out and made this event a successful one!
