The City Council will be discussing an administrative item at the Tuesday, November 4, 2025 City Council meeting to consider whether the City should pursue becoming a Charter City.
The meeting will take place in the Council Chambers at City Hall (10200 Slater Ave.).
Residents are encouraged to attend the November 4 City Council meeting to join in on the discussion and voice their feedback on the matter.
On November 4, City Council will take action on the Charter City item and will provide direction to City staff. Dependent on the direction given, this item may or may not appear on the November 2026 ballot for voters to decide.
