As part of the Slater Mixed-Use Development Project at 10201 Slater Avenue, construction for water and sewer utility connections along Slater Avenue, San Mateo Street, El Corazon Avenue, and San Luis Street will take place. This work will consist of abandoning a sewer lateral, and installing a new sewer lateral, new water services, and all additional appurtenances. Traffic is expected to be impacted around City Hall. However, one lane will remain open in each direction, along the streets surrounding this project.
Construction will begin on Thursday, October 23, 2025 with an anticipated completion date of Friday, December 19, 2025.
