[ARCHIVED] California Small Business COVID-19 Relief Grant Program is Now Open!

The Economic Resources Corporation (ERC) is hosting two question and answer webinars on Monday, March 29 and Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at 2 p.m. to address any questions applicants have concerning completing the COVID-19 Relief Grant application that is now open. Here is the link for the webinars:

The ERC are excited to announce that Round 5 of the California Small Business COVID-19 Relief Grant Program is now open!

Governor Newsom signed into law a comprehensive package providing urgent relief for the small businesses of CA.  There will be $729,000,000 available for distribution.  The application period will be from March 25th – March 31st.  It is not first come, first served.  Based on annual gross revenues for 2019 tax year, eligible business can receive the following:

Revenues $1,000 to $100,0000 = $5,000 grant

Revenues $100,000 up to $1,000,000 = $15,000 grant

Revenues Greater than $1,000,000 to $2,500,000 = $25,000 grant

What are the key dates for Round 5?
Open: March 25th, 2021
Close: March 31st, 2021
 Start of Selection Notification: TBD

I was waitlisted in Rounds 1, 2, or 3. Do I need to submit a new application in Round 5?
NO. Waitlisted applicants will automatically rolled into Round 5. Do not reapply. Reapplying may flag your application as fraud.
