Tuesday,  February 23 2021 @ 10 a.m. Laughter Yoga Presentation Join the Bloomin’ Zoomin’ Speaker Series on Tuesday, February 23 at 10 a.m., as Optum shares the basics of Medicare and how to get the health care you can depend on at affordable prices.  The educational presentation topics include Medicare eligibility, Medicare Parts A, B, C & D overviews, Medicare Advantage Plans, and more.  Get the confidence you need to make the right decision for your health! 

Tuesday, March 2, 2021 @ 10 a.m. Dental Hygiene Presentation  Join West Coast University, dental hygiene students, as they promote awareness regarding the link between oral and systemic health. Come learn about the oral effects of medication, implementation of proper oral hygiene techniques, and prosthesis care. Participants will receive dental hygiene products free of cost.

Join us for Laughter Yoga where we will combine laughter with yoga breathing to make exercise fun! Yoga mats are not required, as exercises are conducted in chairs.  Presentation is presented by Independence at Home, a SCAN community service.  

Tuesday, March 23, 2021 @ 10 a.m. Healthy Eating Presentation Join us for a Virtual Health Eating Cooking Demonstration with Evelyn Yanke, Health Educator with Optum Medical Group previously Healthcare Partners. Evelyn will be creating a delicious Black Bean Salad; it’s plant-based, vegan, and gluten-free, so it works for a variety of diets!  As a BONUS, we will provide a Cooking Kit with recipe ingredients to the first 25 seniors that register by March 16th!
