[ARCHIVED] Fountain Valley’s First Fixit Clinic

Fixit.jpg

Whether or not you have the skills to patch, glue or weld broken stuff back into useful shape, you can get repair help from the resourceful volunteers at the Fixit Clinic. No need to throw it out when it can get repaired. Bring your broken electronics, small appliances, computers, toys, bicycles, etc. for assessment, disassembly, and possible repair. Give new life to broken stuff!

We provide workspace, specialty tools, and guidance to help you take apart and troubleshoot your broken item. Hopefully your item is fixable, but if not, you will learn more about how it was manufactured and how it worked. This is a family-friendly event open to Fountain Valley residents. Children, ages 6, and up are welcome when accompanied by a responsible adult.
