[ARCHIVED] Fountain Valley Police Department Press Release


On March 27, 2016 at approximately 5:17 AM, Officers responded to 17000 block of Santa Suzanne Street in reference to a suspicious persons call. When Officers arrived on scene, a resident advised that he just observed a male suspect looking through car windows and pulling on door handles. Officers confirmed that a theft had occurred after security footage captured the suspect entering into a vehicle and the victim confirming the loss of property from the vehicle. Kyland Bishop (21) from Fountain Valley was subsequently arrested for loitering on private property and petty theft.

The Fountain Valley Police Department continues to urge all residents the importance of locking your doors. The best way to prevent yourself from being a victim of a crime is to lock your vehicles and to bring all your valuables inside. The Fountain Valley Police Department also reminds residents to immediately dial 911 anytime you see something suspicious.
