The Recreation and Community Services Department in conjunction with AAA, AARP, and the American Occupational Therapy Association, will host the CarFit senior drivers program from 9 a.m. to noon Monday, March 7.

CarFit’s professionals take older drivers through a 12-point checklist with their vehicles, recommending minor adjustments that help make their cars “fit” better for comfort and safety. An occupational therapist is also on hand to provide information to seniors on how to maintain and strengthen driving health.

The CarFit event will take place at The Center at Founders Village Senior and Community Center, 17967 Bushard St.

Space is limited, and participants must be pre-registered. To register, call Christy Borack at The Center at Founders Village Senior and Community Center at (714) 593-4446, Ext. 478.
