Do you know your Street Sweeping and Trash Pick Up Schedule?
The City of Fountain Valley would like to remind residents that street sweeping and trash collection schedules are adjusted only for the following major holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
Ticketing for street sweeping will not be enforced when the schedule is adjusted for these specific holidays. To avoid citations and ensure proper cleaning of the street, check local street sweeping signage, which can be found on street light poles at neighborhood entrances, to confirm exact sweeping hours. (Helpful Tip: once you know your street sweeping schedule, put it on your calendar or set up a reminder on your phone.)
