The team decided to create a monthly Fountain Valley Newsletter to update residents on subject matter we believe is of importance to you.

Shop with a Cop

On December 10, 2017, Officers of the Fountain Valley and Westminster Police Departments will be hosting the Shop with a Cop program at one of the local Wal-Mart stores.  This worthwhile program is for underprivileged children who are chosen from local schools in our community.  Santa will arrive by motorcade, and the kids are paired with a uniformed Officer to shop for toys and gifts for Christmas. 

 

This tradition has been made possible through the generous corporate donations from Wal-Mart, the Fountain Valley Police Officers Association, and AB Towing.  The children will be given a gift certificate to go shopping with the Officer and in addition, the family will be given a gift card for a local grocery store so they can have a Christmas dinner.  Many of these families are not able to have a Christmas meal let alone buy gifts for their children.
