Work on the rehabilitation and resurfacing project on Harbor Boulevard, from just north of Lilac Avenue to the Santa Ana River, and Edinger Avenue, from Brookhurst Street to Euclid Street, is still on track to be completed by the end of April 2017. The sidewalk improvements have been completed and work has started on the medians. The paving portion of the project, which is the most disruptive to traffic, is scheduled to start early this month and continue through mid-April. Several traffic lanes may be closed at any given time, however, at least one lane will remain open to traffic at all times.
Please slow down in the construction zones and use alternate routes when possible to avoid traffic delays. The City appreciates your patience and cooperation during this important project. This $3.7 million roadway improvement project is made possible and funded entirely by a competitive grant of $1 million through the Federal Arterial Pavement Management (APM) grant program and $2.7 million in Measure M2 local fair share funds.
