Water portal

One of the big advantages of the City’s Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) is access to accurate, up-to-date water consumption data. Fountain Valley water customers can monitor their own water consumption through the City’s NEW and IMPROVED Water Usage Customer Portal. Residents and businesses can simply visit the City’s website (www.fountainvalley.org) and click on the green “Water Usage Customer Portal” button on the left-hand side of the home page to learn more about this useful tool and access their water consumption information.

All you need to set up a Water Usage Customer Portal account is your email address, the name on your water bill and your account number. You will be asked to create a password when setting up the account. Please note that the City is using a NEW and IMPROVED portal, so even if you had an account on the old portal, you will need to set up a new account.

Once you have set up your account, you will be able to log in to view data regarding your hourly, daily, weekly and monthly water usage and use the information to identify potential problems, manage your water use and help in your continued water conservation efforts. You can also sign up to receive email alerts. (Data is updated nightly.)

Set up your account today. You might be surprised by what your automatic sprinklers or toilets are doing in the middle of the night!
