ACPD "Prom Night" Dance on Friday, June 10
Pull out your best clothes and your fancy dancing shoes... The City of Fountain Valley Advisory Committee for Persons with Disabilities is hosting a "Prom Night" themed dance! This in-person event will be held on Friday, June 10 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Center at Founders Village Senior & Community Center (17967 Bushard St.). The dance will consist of a DJ, dancing, refreshments and a raffle. It is open to adults, ages 18+ and you DO NOT need to be a Fountain Valley resident. The cost for this amazing night is only $1 cash paid at the door, no RSVP is required. Prom Attire is not required, but highly encouraged. Grab your friends and spread the word, this will be a special night you don't want to miss. All current CDC COVID-19 guidelines will be followed.
ACPD Awards Program - Now Acceptions Applications!
The City of Fountain Valley Advisory Committee for Persons with Disabilities has launched its' Annual Awards Program and is seeking individuals and/or companies that provide outstanding support and service to persons with disabilities. If you know of a Fountain Valley business that customarily employs persons with disabilities and/or is disability-friendly or a resident that volunteers with companies that provide services for persons with disabilities, please nominate them so we can show how much they are appreciated!
