[ARCHIVED] Harbor and Edinger Project Update

The original item was published from January 26, 2017 10:16 AM to January 30, 2017 11:52 AM

Despite frequent rain delays, the rehabilitation and resurfacing project on Harbor Boulevard, from just north of Lilac Avenue to the Santa Ana River, and Edinger Avenue, from Brookhurst Street to Euclid Street, is still on track to be completed by the end of April 2017. The paving portion of the project is scheduled to take place in February and March. Several traffic lanes may be closed at any given time, however, at least one lane will remain open to traffic at all times. Please slow down in the construction zones and use alternate routes when possible to avoid traffic delays. The City appreciates your patience and cooperation during this important project. This $3.7 million roadway improvement project is made possible and funded entirely by a competitive grant of $1 million through the Federal Arterial Pavement Management (APM) grant program and $2.7 million in Measure M2 local fair share funds.
