The Center at Founders Village – Reopening June 15 for In Person Programming 
The Center at Founders Village staff are happy to announce the phased reopening of the senior center on Tuesday, June 15.  The Center will be open for in-person programming by pre-registration only.  For more information and details about which programs and classes are going to be offered, please call (714) 593-4446 or visit The Center’s webpage here.

Movie Days with the Senior Center – Featuring  Letters to Juliet - Monday, June 21  
The Center at Founders Village invites you to attend our very first Monday Movie Day on Monday, June 21st from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Together, we’ll watch Letters to Juliet, a 2010 American romantic comedy-drama film about a young woman named Sophie who visits Verona, Italy with her fiancé  and visits a wall where the heartbroken leave notes to Shakespeare’s tragic, heroine, Juliet Capulet. Preserve Your Life Story with Guided Autobiography Volunteer Action for Aging’s Guided Autobiography
5-week series will help you recall and preserve significant moments of your life. Through this interactive class experience, you will learn tools for writing your own life story. GAB is led by a Birren Center for Autobiographical Studies Certified Instructor and offered in June at no cost! This virtual series will be held on Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. If you would like to be part of this series, please call The Center at (714) 593-4446. Space is limited!

Golden Years Peer Support Group with Bill Nelson

The Center at Founders Village has in-person or virtual peer support services! Services are offered by appointment on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The program offers individual, group, and couple sessions.  Topics to be discussed include  anxiety, loneliness, conflict resolution, family relationships, physical activity, food, and nutrition. Call The Center at (714) 593-4446 to schedule an appointment or register for the group session.

Senior Socials Services Program- Information and Referral Program
The Center at Founders Village has a Senior Social Services Program that focuses on information and referral! This program began in November 2020, and is helping seniors make connections to life-sustaining services such as nutrition, housing, transportation, and many more services! Do you need assistance and think that having someone with a network and connections may be helpful? Schedule an  appointment to meet with our social services team. All services are offered by appointment only on Tuesdays from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and Thursdays and may be scheduled by calling (714)593-4446. Appointments will take place virtually, via telephone, or in-person.
