Round Table Discussion with Jane Herin – 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each Month Join Jane on the first and third Friday of each month via Zoom, from 10-11 a.m., to discuss various topics that are relevant for the day, week, month, or year! Jane will lead the conversation, but this is a great opportunity to share your thoughts and discuss topics that may inspire you. Call The Center at Founders Village at (714) 593-4446 to join the discussion and receive login information.

Golden Years Peer Support Group with Bill Nelson The Center at Founders Village has an in-person or virtual peer support services!  Services are offered on Mondays by appointment. The program offers individual, group, and couple sessions. Topics to be discussed include anxiety, loneliness, conflict resolution, family relationships, physical activity, food, and nutrition. Call The Center at (714) 593-4446 to schedule an appointment or register for the group session.

Senior Socials Services Program - Information and Referral Program The Center at Founders Village has a new Senior Social Services Program that focuses on information and referral! This program began in November 2020, and is helping seniors make connections to life-sustaining services such as nutrition, housing, transportation, and many more services!  Do you need assistance and find that having someone with a network and connections would be extremely helpful? Schedule an appointment to meet with our social services team.  All services are offered by appointment only and may be scheduled by calling (714) 593-4446.

Medication Review: Brown Bag Program with Dr. Bill Liu – Wednesday, February 10, 9 a.m.-12 p.m.
The Brown Bag program is where you can schedule a consultation to review your medications with highly regarded pharmacist, Dr. Bill Liu. Dr. Liu has dedicated his profession to working with seniors as part of OC Health and has experience working with the elderly population, sharing his expertise with cities all over Orange County. The virtual review will take place on Wednesday, February 10, 2021, between 9 a.m.-12 p.m. Appointments are required and can be made by calling (714) 593-4446.


Bloomin’ Zoomin’ February Speaker Series Join the City of Fountain Valley, The Center at Founders Village on Tuesdays at 10 a.m. for live presentations on important topics that are impacting the community, especially seniors.

Join us to learn the truth about some important myths about medication use. Presented by Independence at Home, a SCAN community service.

Tuesday, February 16 @ 10 a.m.  How to Cope When You Are At the End of Your Rope: Manage the Stress in Your Life  Stress is a normal part of life.  But how you deal with that stress makes a big difference to your health.  There are healthy ways to cope with stress.
