On June 2, 2020, the City Council of the City of Fountain Valley directed the City Manager to implement the Temporary Emergency Use Permit to allow restaurants, commercial establishments, and religious institutions with access to private sidewalks and/or private parking to utilize portions of those areas for dining, retail services, and operations in accordance with the safety criteria, provided the consent of the landlord or property-owner has been obtained. As more business industries are required to operate outside today, the City encourages businesses to take advantage of this program. Below is a list of businesses that received the Temporary Emergency Use Permit approval and more are in the process of getting approval. For more information, click here.
