The first Experience Fountain Valley Food & Wine at Freedom Hall - Mile Square Park on October 4 was a success. There were 1,000 attendees with over 40 participating restaurants/refreshment vendors and 30 business vendors. Attendees enjoyed sampling a variety of food/desserts and refreshments- alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. There were live entertainment from Let There Be Rock Schools, Dilfs, Fountain Valley High School Orchestra, Ryan Christopher Sings, Miss Fountain Valley Scholarship, Tyun Yee Tong Dragon, Lion Dance Association, and DJ from John Borack. The event raised funds for Fountain Valley Restaurant Association, Fountain Valley Fire Department, Fountain Valley Community Foundation, Fountain Valley Chamber of Commerce and many other non-profit organizations.
