The 60th Anniversary Ad Hoc Committee has been meeting bi-weekly to discuss plans for this year celebration. Since the City was incorporated on June 13, 1957, the committee decided to tie the 60th Anniversary Celebration with the City's Annual Summerfest scheduled from June 22 through June 25. As part of the 60th Anniversary Celebration, Fireworks Show will take place on Friday, June 23 with a VIP Fireworks Cocktail and Viewing Party from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. for $25 and a parade on Saturday, June 24 at 9 .m.
