As construction improvement projects take underway at City Reservoir No. 2 Pump Station Facility, residents around the area have been informed of the temporarily closure of the basketball court and playground at Cordata Park as part of the Reservoir 2 Pump Station Rehabilitation project. As part of the project, the City will be removing the old basketball court, currently on top of the water reservoir tank, and will be constructing a new basketball court adjacent to the playground area. Improvements will also include developments to the current concrete pathways within the playground area. A section of Cordata Park will remain open for the resident’s enjoyment. The new basketball area and the existing playground area are anticipated to be open to the public by July 29, 2019.
We want to extend our appreciation for your patience during the project improvements to the City Reservoir No. 2 Pump Station Facility. Again, thank you for your patience and if you have any questions about the project or about this closure, please do not hesitate to contact Kenji Shintaku, Project Manager at (888) 530-2292.
