Euclid St

On July 9, 2018, construction commenced on the rehabilitation of Euclid St. from Slater Ave. to Warner Ave. Construction on this project is anticipated to last 45 working days with an expected completion date of September 10, 2018.

Rehabilitation of this $1,077,000 SB1 funded project will consist of the removal and replacement of trees, bus stop pads, selected curb and gutters, driveway approaches, and sidewalk panels. There will also be work done on the construction of ADA approved pedestrian ramps, as well as new landscape medians. In addition, grinding of the existing asphalt pavement will occur and new asphalt pavement will be placed throughout the corridor.

The project has been carefully planned to mitigate as many inconveniences to the public as possible; however, there will be some unavoidable temporary lane closures. Once completed, the rehabilitation of Euclid Street will better support the daily lives of both motorists and pedestrians in the City of Fountain Valley.
