Summer Camps!
Summer camp registration has already begun and camps are filling up. Did you know that we are offering two sports camps through Skyhawks Sports Academy? Basketball Camp and Beginning Golf Camp are two great camps that are fun and work on developing skills needed to play the game. The Basketball Camp focuses on respect, teamwork, and responsibility and is an active week of passing, shooting, dribbling and rebounding. Beginning Golf Camp teaches the fundamentals of swinging, putting and body positioning. This camp allows players to make an effective transition onto the golf course. Senior Expo on June 21
The Center at Founders Village at 17967 Bushard Street will be holding their annual Senior Expo on Thursday, June 21 from 9:30 am to 12 noon. This is the Senior Center’s largest fundraiser as the sponsors’ contributions benefit senior services in Fountain Valley. The event includes vendors from all areas relating to senior needs and services. A complimentary lunch is provided with many give-a-ways and prizes for attendees. The event is a free. Summerfest
Summerfest
is almost here! Summerfest is scheduled for June 21 through June 24. The
Fountain Valley Sports Park will be busy with carnival rides, great
food, live bands on the main stage, and local acts on the
community stage. Thursday is Food Truck Night and $1 rides. Friday night
there will be fireworks in celebration of the Fountain Valley Community
Foundation's 10th anniversary. Saturday is the Classic Car and Truck Show.
