Start a Group
If there is not an active group in your neighborhood, the Crime Prevention officer will work with you and your neighbors to start 1. Starting a group is simple. Pick a time and place for your neighbors to gather, either in the neighborhood or by scheduling with the Crime Prevention officer. The officer will talk about Neighborhood Watch, crime prevention tips and crime trends.
Ideal Neighborhood Watch groups are typically small, usually 15 to 20 households, to simplify communication and enforcement among participants. The Police Department is available for these meetings.
