Mayor's Message
 

Dear Fountain Valley Residents,

In Fountain Valley, we believe building a strong, vibrant city is a team effort—and like America’s favorite pastime, it starts with a solid game plan. This year, I’m proud to share my four key priorities for our community, framed through a familiar baseball diamond analogy that reflects teamwork, momentum, and progress.

First Base: Fitness Valley 

A healthy community is a strong community. Fitness Valley represents our commitment to supporting both physical and mental well-being for residents of all ages. From our parks and recreation programs to initiatives that promote wellness and balance, we are focused on creating opportunities that help our community stay active, resilient, and connected. As part of this focus, I’m excited to introduce “Walk a Mile with the Mayor”, an opportunity for residents to join me on a quarterly basis for a casual, one-mile walk through our community. I encourage residents of all ages and abilities to lace up their walking shoes and join me throughout the year. More details to follow.

Second Base: Foodie Valley 

Fountain Valley’s dining scene is thriving, and Foodie Valley celebrates the diverse and delicious eateries that make our city unique. By supporting local restaurants and encouraging culinary innovation, we aim to position Fountain Valley as a premier foodie destination in Orange County—where residents and visitors alike can enjoy great food and great company.

Third Base: Friendly Valley 

Inspired by the timeless message of being a good neighbor, Friendly Valley reflects our commitment to kindness, collaboration, and approachability. Whether it’s serving our residents, partnering with our business community, expanding a lifelong love of learning and growing at our Fountain Valley school sites, or welcoming visitors, we strive to foster a city culture that is respectful, responsive, and inclusive—where everyone feels valued and heard.

Home Base: Forever Valley 

Home base is first place,  where it all comes together. Forever Valley looks toward the future as we welcome new residential developments, new neighbors, and new businesses. Our goal is to ensure Fountain Valley remains a place people are proud to call home—not just for today, but for generations to come.

As we round the bases together, I’m excited about what lies ahead for Fountain Valley. By staying focused on wellness, economic vitality, community connection, and thoughtful growth, we’re building a city where residents can truly live their best life—now and in the future.
